Adoption fees

01 January 2017

Everyone is suffering in this current financial environment, not least charities and Cats Protection Fraserburgh needs to increase its income this year in order to cover our running costs.

As a result, we have had to take the decision to increase the charges for re-homing a cat to £50 for a single cat/kitten and £90 for two. Remember when your chosen cat leaves Cats Protection, it will have been micro-chipped, neutered (if old enough) and vaccinated, also with 4 weeks free pet insurance giving invaluable peace of mind and reassurance. All your cat needs now is a loving home to make both your dreams come true over to you!

We have also had to make the very difficult decision to ask people who are handing in cats to either to have evidence that the cat has been neutered and vaccinated or, if this has not been done, to make a donation to CP to help with neutering and vaccinating, as well as to help with costs for when it is in our care.

This has been a hard choice to make but vet bills, food costs, etc are all increasing and we have to make sure that we have money to take care of each and every cat.

We hope you can appreciate the reasons why we have had to go down this route and would thank everyone for their continued support.
