Challenge events imageWhy not challenge yourself by taking part in an exciting event while raising money to help the UK's cats and kittens?

We have lined up a whole host of events in 2011 for you to participate in. From biking and abseiling to running and bungee jumping, whatever you do we can help with your fundraising and provide moral support on the day.

2012km Challenge Working in partnership with the British Olympic Association and Gold Challenge, feel a part of the excitement around London 2012 and take on your very own Olympic challenge.

This challenge is great for teams or those individuals who want to push themselves. There are three possible levels depending on how adventurous you are feeling:

  • 2012 km
  • 201.2 km
  • 20.12 km

What you have to do

You or your team must cover your chosen distance via one or more of the following Olympic sports:

Running ~ Walking ~ Cycling ~ Swimming ~ Canoeing/Kayaking ~ Horse riding ~ Rowing ~ Sailing ~ Windsurfing ~ Wheelchair

Use your online Totalizer to keep track of how far you've gone and aim to go the distance before the start of the Olympic Games in July 2012.

On 1st April 2012, in partnership with Gold Challenge, Cats Protection have 10 spaces to walk on the track along with Team GB Legends, celebrity ambassadors and over 150 UK charities– and you could be there! As well as that we have places for 2 lucky people to be the first to run 100m in the Olympic Stadium.

They will be among the first people in the world to run the 100m on the track that will see the stars of Team GB and ParalympicsGB compete against world class Olympic and Paralympic athletes in the summer of 2012. The event will include a number of celebrity and athlete races and will culminate with an exciting and colourful show including some amazing acts that we will be announcing shortly.

National Three Peaks Challenge Cats Protection would like to give you the challenge of a life time! Enter as a team or an individual in a National Three Peaks Challenge event.

Test yourself to the limit by climbing the three highest peaks in the UK; a total of 26 miles (42 km), in under 24 hours! You will climb Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales.

You can either join forces with friends and colleagues by entering as a team or go it alone as an individual entrant.

The National Three Peaks Challenge can be adapted to cater for your needs. If you don’t think you are able to complete the challenge in under 24 hours don’t worry - your abilities will be considered.
