Below is a very sad story from Sylviai, one of the Centre's supporters.  Now that we are enjoying a spell of warmer weather please be aware of the dangers tilt and turn windows can pose to our feline friends.

Hi. I wonder if you could put up a notice about the dangers of tilt and turn windows, Yesterday one of my neighbour's cats got stuck in the window yesterday when she was out, I don't know how long it had been stuck but by the time I was alerted another neighbour had tried to help the wee cat and it fell down inside the house. There was blood on the windowsill but we couldn't see anything through the window. I phoned another animal rescue charity but they couldn't do anything without access to the house. I was putting a notice on the door when the lady returned. When we went in to the house the wee cat was lying at the front of the sink dead. The lady was very distressed. There was blood on the floor and the door it had ripped the beading off the window it must have been awful for the poor thing. The same thing happened with the cat next door to us same windows but the lady was in and my husband helped to release it. There must be a problem and if you could perhaps highlight it
