RalphRALPH -  OUR MOST OVERLOOKED CAT

Could YOU offer Ralph a permanent caring home? This lovely cat has now been in Cats Protection care since early February 2012 and Ralph is still waiting for a home of his own. He's a quiet little chap and can be shy on first meeting but once he gets to know you Ralph does like to play. Ralph is 4 years old though he has the demeanor of an older cat so a quieter home would suit him very well. He's had a bit of tough past so it would be wonderful to see gentle Ralph settled in a loving home. Could you make things better for Ralph?

What to do if you would like to give one of our cats a new home

Ring Chris on 02392 582601 and let her know which cat you are interested in.  Chris will provide you with some more information about the cat and ask you questions about your home and lifestyle to ensure you are compatible, she may also suggest other cats that may be suitable.

It is important that we match up the right cat with the right home and that everyone will be happy. We carry out a friendly home check before adoption. One of our volunteers will visit you at home to chat about your circumstances to establish which cat would be suitable for you as well as answering any questions you may have. After a successful home visit our volunteer will give you the details of the fosterer looking after the cat(s) so that you can make arrangements to go and see it.  If you then decide you would like the cat, arrangements can be made with the fosterer for you to collect your new member of the family. As we are volunteers we do not have 'opening times' however our fosterers will be happy to arrange a time convenient to both parties.

Cats Protection asks adopters for a fee when re-homing a cat.  This is to help cover the cost of neutering, vaccinating, micro chipping and general care of the cat during its stay with us.  Of course you're always welcome to give more than the set fee. We know times are hard and thank you for your decision to adopt a Cats Protection cat.

Do have a look at our Success Stories showing the joy that homing a CP cat can bring and the owners of gorgeous George send us regular updates so thrilled are they with the new member of their family. George is on the success stories.
