Mimi (formerly Kitty) was pregnant when she came into CP care in June 2010 and stayed until her kittens were old enough to be homed. Mac (formerly Mojo) arrived in August 2010. Initially timid he became firm friends with Mimi in the adjoining pen. Happily they were rehomed together and their new owner says "both cats have settled well and seem happy and contended. The purr quota is increasing on a daily basis as they get more used to us and to their new surroundings. Although Mac is still a little shy and nervous he is gradually coming out of his shell and, with a lot of encouragement and cuddles, has the potential for developing into a much more confident companion cat. Mimi is far more outgoing and loves playing with her toys and watching the birds and squirrels in the back garden from the safety of the kitchen windowsill. Both cats play well together and are fast becoming part of our hearts and our home. Thank you Cats Protection for providing us with our new family members."
