Coming into CP care at 13 years old we thought it might take a while for Rigsby to find a home. Fortunately Sarah from Gosport and her 12 year old son George saw Rigsby's picture on our website and pretty much fell in love with him. Homed at 11am on New Years Day 2011, Sarah told us later that day "Mr Rigsby made himself at home on George's bed (with George giving him copious cuddles) within half an hour of arriving at his new forever home. Through the rest of the day he has either been sat with me on the couch (purring away) or sat with George but never sat on his own. He did have some nice fresh ham that we had bought yesterday pre-empting his arrival (I didn't want to put tinned food out as I thought this would help him especially with George giving him each little piece). Lastly, I cooked him some fresh fish half an hour ago and pleased to say he's eaten the lot and is now with me on the couch having more cuddles." Just purrfect.
