Christmas fundraising round up

Sales of Cats Protection merchandise were swift at the Locksheath Shopping Centre with volunteers Deb and Chris raising £208.45 on 09/12/11 to help the cats in care. Deb & Chris enjoyed meeting the public and chatting about cats and Christmas!

Sales from our stall at Gosport market on Saturday 17/12/11 helped to boost the kitty further with a fantastic £279.06. Thank you to those who donated goods to sell, to our customers and those who put a donation in the box and also to our volunteers who manned the stall on a cold Saturday.  

It wouldn't be Christmas without a tin of chocolates and one tin we received was a prize in a raffle at a celebratory lunch held by Michael, one of our supporters. All donations are appreciated and Michael also donated several prizes for the raffle which raised £360 on 18/12/11.  Thank you for thinking of cats and Gosport Cats Protection.  

The CP kitten calendar was a popular buy in the run up to Christmas so much so that additional stock was bought. There were just a few then left over which Kate took to work selling them to friends and colleagues with this final fundraising of the year on 29/12/11 bringing in £67.
