Toxins

While cats are generally pretty selective about what they will ingest, great care needs to be taken with potential toxins around the house, such as household plants.

Sometimes they are ingested indirectly when the cat cleans its coat.  Lily pollen in perticular will stick to the fur.  Automotive and machinery products are also hazardous to your pets like anti freeze, de icer, brake fluids and petrol, slug pellets and poisions for mice and rats.  If you think that your pet has ingested any of these products then contact a vet immediatley.
