Neutering really does offer cats of all ages some solid benefits:
  •   Neutering stops unwanted kittens (did you know that one un-neutered female cat can be responsible for 20,000 offspring in just FIVE years?).
  •  It guards against disease (fighting cats are more at risk of life threatening diseases that can be transmitted through biting and saliva).
  •  It helps prevent roaming (neutered cats are less likely to wander off for days or protect their territory, making them safer pets).
A neutered cat:

  •  Is less likely to spray (un-castrated toms mark their territory with strong smelling urine).
  •  Is less likely to fight.
  •  Is less likely to be run over (most cats killed on the road are un-castrated toms).
  •  Does not get fat – overfeeding makes a cat overweight and unhealthy.
