A total of 242 cats/kittens have departed for new homes during 2012.

The fall-away in Feline Adoption numbers since early March has levelled but still remains less than at the beginning of the year. The Success Stories published in the Features Section all reinforce the benefit to families and individuals of accepting a Cat or Kitten into the home. Please read and then come along to the Haslemere Centre and meet our residents. Hopefully, this will lead to realisation that a Domestic Feline companion or 2 is absolutely right for you and yours.

Requests for Kittens continue to pour in and our Mums are doing their best. Kitten availability is likely to rise from now-on as we enter 'The Season'. However, please remember that delightful fluffy bundles will soon become a mature Cat. Adopting mature Cats means you know what you are getting; whereas Kittens are a relatively unknown proposition.

Russell is the featured Cat, a quiet and affectionate male Cat who takes life gently but has the look of understanding everything.
