Classroom based workshops

We are currently offering classroom based workshops, for keystage 1 and keystage 2. These are to educate the children on how to treat and care for cats properly. This is part of a programme to increase awareness amongst young people of the correct needs and treatment of cats as both pets and strays. The visit is completely free of charge and covers core areas of the curriculum. It is intended that all students will gain insight into what the charity does. KS 1 students will identify through props and stories, the needs of cats and how to treat them with respect and kindness. KS 2 workshops will enhance their understanding of feline behaviour and body language.
All students will be presented with a Cats Protection goody bag. teachers will also be provided with follow-up material which supports this learning.
Please contact the Adoption Centre if you wish for your class to take part
