Hadrian's Wall trekking weekend
- 02 September 2016 to 04 Sep 2016
- Near Haltwhistle, Northumberland
Hadrian’s Wall originally ran from coast to coast and spanned 72 miles. Today we are left with only sections of this famous landmark, which cuts through Northumberland National Park.
Starting at Lanercost Priory, you will trek for 25 miles (41km) alongside the only remaining sections of the wall, admiring ancient monuments, beautiful scenery and the skill of the Roman engineers who built this famous landmark, now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
This is a long, challenging weekend which gives everyone who takes part a great sense of camaraderie and achievement. We ask you to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £75 and pledge to raise a minimum of £460.
We will provide you with full support and ideas to ensure you feel confident in raising the required minimum.
We understand the commitment, courage and thought that goes into participating in a challenge event on behalf of Cats Protection and promise we will do our very best to give you all the help and support you need to have a successful challenge and raise lots of much needed funds to help us care for cats and kittens.
