Lea Valley Shop

Our shop is run entirely by volunteers and opens Monday to Saturday from 11.00 to 15.00.
It sells an extraordinary variety of donated goods.  Many of our regular customers call it an 'Aladdin's Cave'!
All profits are used to fund our welfare work with cats and kittens in our local area.

We are most grateful for your generous donations but, as one of the few charity shops in our area, we are unable to cope with everything that is being donated.

PLEASE, before arriving at the shop with your donations, call 020 8367 4813 to make sure that we can accept your donations.

Thank you for your understanding.
  • Hand sanitiser stations available.
  • Card transactions preferred (contactless or chip and pin).

Donations:
If you're not in the mood for buying, then please consider clearing out your unwanted clothes, books and other items and donate them for sale in the shop.  In the New Year,  we welcome unwanted Christmas presents.

We can accept most things but, because the shop has limited space to display and store donations, we are unable to accept:
  • larger items of furniture
  • baby high chairs
  • baby baths
  • baby floor activity centres
In addition, there are some items that we cannot accept, such as:
  • VHS tapes
  • duvets and pillows
  • mains-powered electrical goods
  • safety equipment (child car seats; crash helmets, etc).
We may be able to collect donations from you if delivery to the shop is difficult.  Contact us through the shop 'phone 020 8367 4813 or the helpline 0333 567 4746.

Parking:
Some side roads near the shop offer free parking, but you will need to find an empty spot!
The parking meter people tell us that the single yellow line in the road immediately in front of the shop allows drivers to wait for a few minutes to unload donations or to load bulky purchases - but only a few minutes!  However, do not park with your car wheels on the pavement; that is expressly forbidden.

Volunteering:
We are always interested to hear from you if you would like to volunteer for a full or half day in our shop.  Call in or contact us at: via the Helpline 0333 567 4746 or directly to the shop on 020 8367 4813 or email enfield.shopmanager@cats.org.uk.
