Cats Protection are big winners at the tenth annual Charity Retail Awards

Cats Protection was a big winner at the Charity Retail Awards last week, after claiming the prize of "Outstanding Charity Retailer" for the second year in a row.
The awards are organised and hosted by the Charity Retail Association (CRA), the only body to represent charity shops throughout the UK. This year, for the first time, they were held in Nottingham at the Belfry Hotel.
The prize was won by Cats Protection’s retail team in recognition of their substantial growth, which is far ahead of the sector average, as well as their innovative programme of shop openings. They have opened a further 20 shops across the UK, and refurbished 6 existing units to the Standard Shop format, adding 2 ‘Cattitude’ boutiques in London and Edinburgh.
