How you can help

What we do

Cats Protection aims to -

  • Rescue, re-habilitate and re-home unwanted cats and kittens
  • Promote neutering
  • Provide information on cat care

Here at Newbury we help nearly 1000 cats and kittens every year and find new homes for those whom for whatever reason come into our Adoption Centre. All receive -

  • A thorough medical examination by a vet  and vaccinations for flu, enteritis, leukaemia and chlamydia
  • Treatment for fleas and worms
  • Microchipping
  • Neutering (if over 4/5 months old)
  • 4 weeks free insurance from Pet Plan when re-homed
  • Lots of love and attention!
  • Any treatment required prior to homing, e.g  Dentals, Thyroidectomies

We also provide help towards the cost of neutering, for those in the Newbury area, on low incomes or in receipt of benefits. Please ring us on 01635 200 111 for more details.

All this would not be possible without the dedication of our staff and volunteers. To find out more about the many ways in which you could help click here
