Search for owner of cat found on the M27

The search is on to reunite an owner with a cat, found last week on the M27 near Eastleigh.

The cat, which appears to be well-fed and in good condition, is currently being cared for by Cats Protection’s Southampton branch. Estimated to be around a year old, the female cat has a microchip from the Bracknell, Wokingham and District branch dating back to between June and December 2016. Unfortunately, the owner did not register the chip when the cat was rehomed by the branch.

The cat is black and white, with distinctive markings. It is thought likely that she got into a car or delivery van, and this is how she ended up on the M27.

Anyone who can help find the cat’s owner should contact Cats Protection’s Bracknell & Wokingham Districts branch by calling 03453 714 212.
