On Sunday 6 July, the only place to be is Brighton Racecourse as Cats Protection hosts its largest fundraising event of 2008 – The Big Day Out.

Situated high on the Sussex Downs, the course boasts splendid views of the surrounding countryside and the English Channel. With the opportunity to enjoy a thrilling day at the races and raise funds for the UK's unwanted cats and kittens, it promises to be a day to remember.

We will be hosting a lucheon in the course's Prince Regent Suite which allows exclusive access onto an open-air balcony providing excellent trackside viewing. Guests will enjoy a fabulous Buck’s Fizz reception, a three-course silver service meal with wine and afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits.

In addition, each guest will receive a race programme, a complimentary betting voucher, private tote betting and television facilities, free parking and the services of an expert tipster for betting advice.

Join us on the day

This is the biggest family day at Brighton Racecourse - there will be lots of children’s entertainment including some feline-themed performers, a fantastic fairground and pets corner. Not to mention the children’s fancy dress competition – the most magnificent moggy will win a day out for all the family!
