What we do

As a dedicated team of volunteers (like cats, we’re all shapes and ages!!) we rescue, neuter, foster, rehabilitate and re-home on around 500 cats and kittens every year.  Of course, like any charity, we have limited resources so we have to rely on our own fundraising activities and donations from the public – which we and the cats so much appreciate.

If you think you could help us in anyway, please visit the support us page. If you could offer some spare time to help the charity then please email us at catsnorthbham@hotmail.com

We cover the following Post Codes for Rescues, trapping and Neutering Vouchers: B6, 7, 8, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 34, 35, 36, 42, 43, 44, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76.     If you are NOT a resident in one of the these postcodes, you can still adopt a cat from us or you may wish to look at other CP websites in the West Midlands .  Go to  or you may wish to look at other CP websites in the West Midlands .  Go to  Cats Protection Find Us

The number to ring to report a stray or feral cat colony is our general helpline - 0845 260 1503. Please note all vets will scan a cat free of charge to detect a Microchip !
