The story of Simba

CP made everything really simple through their efficient and complete organisation"

We were put into contact with Cats Protection by our local vet. We had no idea whether it would be right to introduce another cat to our 9 month old cat 'Mittens' who had lost her sibling and was very lonely.

CP were very helpful with advice and six weeks later we were offered a beautiful kitten who we called 'Simba'. He is a cream colour with chocolate points and had been born into a litter of black kittens cared for by foster carer Mandy.

Mittens was very wary at first despite Simba wanting to be friends from the outset. After a couple of days they were fine together.

It took a very short time for Simba to be completely at ease around the house and now, as he is still a kitten, he is exhausting Mittens with his playfulness. They are now grooming and cleaning each other and sometimes curling up together for a rest.
