How you can help

Welcome to the North Sheffield branch of Cats Protection. Our branch was established in 1988 and is run completely by dedicated volunteers who give their free time to help, several of the founder members are still active today. We always welcome new volunteers, no matter how little time you have.

Our dedicated supporters foster cats, raise funds and generally keep the branch going, enabling us to take unwanted cats and kittens into care year in year out.

We believe that there is a loving home out there somewhere for every cat, we try to ensure that every cat is given the chance of a life where it will be treated with kindness and understanding, and we never put a cat, kitten, elderly or ill cat to sleep except on clear veterinary advice.

We are committed to caring for the cats who, often through no fault of their own come into care. Our aim is to rehome them safely with loving families, and our policy of home visits helps match the right cat to the right home.

Please note we offer assisted neutering to any cat owner in receipt of state benefits living in North Sheffield area.
