Hello Auntie Pauline & Uncle Ken
Thought it was time again that I put my paws on the keyboard to let you know how I have been getting on.
My mummy and daddy have built up enough trust in me to let me go outside on my own now, mind you I do stay in the garden exploring. My mummy and daddy call me occasionally so that I know I am near home. Sometimes when they call me I am fast asleep in the conservatory as they don't know I have come in and exploring the garden does make me tired and I have to have a sleep.
Yesterday, as the pictures show, I was up on daddy's shed, not the first time let me add. I like going up there as I can nearly see over the tall hedges in my garden.
When my mummy and daddy went on their holiday I went on my holiday too, to stay with auntie Maggie at the very local pussy cat hotel, I have been there before, the first time for one night and the second time for two nights when my grandad died. Mind you I don't like going in my carrier to go there or when I come home.
When I was young and before I lived where I live now I was never handled so I'm still not used to being picked up, but daddy is very patient with me and picks me up and cuddles me for about 20 seconds then puts me down again before I struggle.
I am still a little pussy cat and in June I had a birthday, I was two and got some cards and presents so I am being looked after very well.
When my mummy and daddy go to bed they tell me they are going and I rush upstairs, I always get upstairs first and jump up onto their bed for a bit of a rough and tumble type stroke, I don't know who enjoys it most me or them. I have a good stroking session and then jump across to one of my beds in the house and get 3 "temptations" and 4 "dentabits" every night. sometimes I jump on my bed too soon and daddy calls me back for some more strokes first, then I can have my treats.
In the past 14 months I have come on in leaps and bounds, no pun intended, and I have put my trust in my mummy and daddy and when I want a stroke I just have to roll over in front of mummy or daddy and I always get lots of strokes. Mummy says that I have got my daddy wrapped around my little paws, ha ha!
