Adopt a CP Cat
If you would like to adopt a cat why not have a look at what we have available by visiting our Adopt a Cat page where we try and include some images so that you can see what they look like. The adoption fee is £85 per cat for kittens under 6 months of age and £65 for cats over 6 months. PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT CAN BE TAKEN BY CASH OR CHEQUE ONLY.
What to do if you would like to give one of our cats a new home. Ring 01692 535858. Advise which cat you are interested in. Stephanie our Co-ordinater will give you more information about that cat and ask you questions to ensure the cat will suit your home and lifestyle. She may also suggest other cats that would be suitable.
Once it has been agreed which cat(s) you would like to see she will either arrange for you to visit the cat in one of her pens, or give you the telephone number of the person fostering the cat, so that you can make arrangements to go and see it.
If you decide you would like the cat, advise the fosterer that you are interested and then ring Stephanie so that nobody else goes to see it. Stephanie will then arrange for someone to do a "home check" (we are only interested in making sure the cat will have a good home and to give you an opportunity to ask any questions) Providing the home check is satisfactory you can make arrangements with the fosterer to collect the cat.
As we are all volunteers we do not have "opening times" our fosterers will be happy to arrange for you to visit at times that are convenient for you and them. And remember.. you can show us your support by attending one of our many events which are all in aid of raising funds for our branch. Details of planned events are added to the events section.
