Help us find forever homes for cats and kittens
Peterborough Cats Protection will be holding a homing event this Sunday, 17 July 2011, for people interested in adopting a cat to meet those that are ready for new homes.
Pam McNicol, coordinator, said: “We are still being inundated with unwanted cats and kittens and until we find forever homes for those which we are currently fostering, there are many others out there - some of which are living in sheds and garages until we are able to take them in.
“If you are thinking of adopting, then come and see us this Sunday to meet our cats. As soon as we are able to find them good homes we will be able to take more in. In the meantime our waiting list is continuing to grow.”
The event is being held at 80 Eyrescroft, Bretton, Peterborough PE3 8ET between 11am and 12.30pm. Anyone who can’t make this time but is interested in adopting and wants to find out more can call the advice line on 0845 371 2750 for further information.
Anyone adopting from Cats Protection can be assured that as far as we can tell they are homing a healthy animal. All adult cats are neutered, fleaed, wormed, microchipped and vaccinated against Cat Flu and Enteritis before being re-homed. This would cost in the region of £100 and we charge a fee of £50 to help us continue our work. All cats are homed with four weeks free insurance from Petplan.
