Paris and Nicky While black cats are the most difficult to rehome, these siblings show that they should never be overlooked. After a six month stay at CP, they found a fabulous new home. Both started off timid with human contact, but with some proper understanding, they have grown to trust humans again. |

Florence The Derby Adoption Centre found Florence a great new home two years ago. She started as a little standoffish, but has quickly grown into the big softy she always wanted to be! Always ready for a good cuddle, Florence enjoys playing with her toy mouse and getting plenty of fuss. |

Clyde Judging by his photo, it’s clear to see that Clyde feels at home at his new residence. He was adopted last year from the Mere & Gillingham Branch by a loving new family. We think he’s happy with his brand new life! |
Bygones Bygones has been a constant joy to his new family and has been enjoying the good life for five years now. He is limited to the back garden as he is unable to jump or climb fences. This doesn’t stop him joining in the fun with the other cats in the household however! |

Almond ‘Al’ was a resident at the National Cat Centre until he was adopted back in 2007. His new family report that after a slow, shy start, Al really settled into family life and has made a firm friend with his feline house-mate Willow. |
Tilly Having been found starving under a shed, Tilly always ensured that she was well fed by nipping to the neighbours for ‘takeaways’. Loving and sweet-natured, she will be missed by her owners since passing away recently after illness. |
Penny Penny has been gently training her owners for almost two decades. Adopted at the age of 18 months, she could be ferocious but, thanks to the patience and skill of her new family, she soon came around. Now at the incredible age of 20, we think Penny looks like a cat half her age! |
Leela Vocal and chatty, Leela has already set the ground rules in her new abode! The most fundamental of these is that dinner must be strictly on time. But then, bearing in mind her bad start in life, we think she deserves to call the shots in her new family! |
Minxie Adopted from the Stroud branch last year, Minxie has been enjoying her loving new home and her devoted new owners. A natural nosey-parker, Minxie likes to follow her fellow family members everywhere to ensure she never misses a thing! |
Boo Very lady-like, small and petite, Boo was adopted by a CP volunteer. She had been abandoned on a busy road by her previous owners and rescued by a kind passer-by. Boo enjoyed a feisty life in her new home until she sadly died last December aged 18 years. She will be sadly missed. |
Fluffy A resident at his new home for three years now, Fluffy never the less took a long time to get over his early life where he was badly mistreated. However, with the love of a new family, Fluffy is fully relaxed and enjoys lots of fuss. He even comes when he’s called… most of the time at least! |
Tinkerbell ‘Tinks’ passed away this year at the ripe old age of 20. Whether being pampered or defending her turf, Tinks showed love in her own way. Affectionate and devoted, she will be sadly missed by her family. |
Oscar and Purdy Confident and bossy, Purdy (right) is the boss of this duo without challenge. With her trusty sidekick Oscar, no shoelace is safe! |
Timmy and Jimmy Adopted from our Wigan branch when they were 12 weeks old, Timmy and Jimmy’s new owner describe them as ‘the most perfect moggies’! They have settled in to their new home with typical aplomb and love each other’s company. They certainly make the ideal twosome. |
