Please scroll down to see the list of cats in our care.
Before any cat in our care is rehomed, it is, neutered, de-flead, de-wormed, vaccinated against Cat Flu & Enteritis and Feline Leukaemia and any medical or behavioural problems are expertly handled.
Telephone or email us to let us know of your interest but remember that our Branch is run by volunteers who often have full-time jobs. Your phone calls and emails will be passed on to our Homing Officer who will contact you as soon as possible.
Cats Protection asks adopters for a fee when rehoming a cat. If you feel able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received. We know times are hard so thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat! On average, each cat can cost the branch more than £350 before it is ready for rehoming.

NEW CHANGES FOR HOMING IF YOU ARE RENTING - on the homing visit please can you now make sure you have a copy of your landlords written permission for you to have cats in the property. This is from January 2010 a legal requirement before homing a cat/kitten from Cats Protection.
We often have sick or elderly cats that we find stay with us a for a long time, and we still need to find these dear cats a loving new home, so if you feel you are able to offer one of our elderly cats and sick cats a new home please do get in touch with us and we can make arrangements for them to be viewed.

We are pleased to announce that we, as a branch, have some of our cats in Mousers Motel Boarding Cattery in Swallowfield, where Tim & Penny Allen look after them very well with the help and assistance of Debbie Grant, our Homing Officer.
Some of the cats in our care may not yet be on our website. If you are looking for a feline companion, please call us on 0845 3714212
