This branch has introduced an 'adopt with confidence' pledge so that prospective owners can be confident that any cat adopted from us has benefited from the highest standards of care.
This comes at a time when more pets than ever are being given up which has put a massive strain on this branch. Some owners who have lost their jobs simply cannot afford to keep their cats or have had to move to rented accommodation where pets are not allowed, so we are dealing with an increasing number of unwanted cats than ever before.
In these difficult times. we are encouraging people to come to us as their first port of call when looking for a new cat as we always have healthy, affectionate cats that would really benefit froma loving home.
Owners adopting from Cats Protection have the peace of mind that their cat will have been examined by a veterinary surgeon, microchipped, neutered if old enough, vaccinated and will also come with 4 weeks' free insurance, which is a big plus for money-conscious owners. In addition, if kittens are not old enough to be neutered when they go to their new homes the owners will receive a voucher entitling them to have their kitten neutered for free.
