Katie ST AUSTELL and DISTRICT CATS PROTECTION

IF YOU LOVE CATS AND WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT OUR BRANCH IN ST AUSTELL, then we would love to hear from you, so please contact us for more details. You can assist by becoming  one of the following:

 A MEMBER OF OUR BRANCH-

For just £5.00 a year membership fee you are entitled, during the course of the year, to 4 copies of the branch newsletter which contains news and articles concerning our work with cats in the area. It also contains news of our forthcoming  fund raising and social events where like minded members have a chance to meet up and talk cats.

BECOMING A VOLUNTEER.

The branch is desperatefor more volunteers; there is plenty of hands on work, such as becoming a fosterer -suitable for people who can't get enough of our feline friends. Also, we are desperate for helpers in fundraising. Come along and join us at one of our events, whether you can bake, grow plants or just make tea or help serving, there will be a job suitable for you. Fund raising is continuous, month on month, year on year. There are various administrative positions which have to be filled, there must be something interesting just for you.

ADOPT A CAT OR KITTEN.

We have a wide selection of cats and kittens of all ages and personalities desperate to find a new and loving home.
By adopting one of our cats you will be assisting the branch and make a place vacant for one of the many cats that are looking for a second chance of love and happiness. Through no fault of their own, these poor cats have been left, disowned, or abandond, as well as the cats that are looking for new homes through legitimate reasons.

TO MAKE A DONATION

Our branch is only able to care, feed, and pay for vetinary treatments of our cats because of the kind generosity of people like you who care, either through donations or attending one of our fund raising events.
The cats are very grateful for any donation be it food, cash, toys, or blankets, it all helps.
We have collecting boxes in various stores and shops, we also have a food collecting box in our local Tesco store, Holmbush St Austell.

TO MAKE A LEGACY

Should you like to be even more generous, then you can leave us some money in your will. You can leave the money to the charity which will distribute it as it sees fit but, if you wish it to go to a specific branch or to a Cornish branch, then you need to instruct your solicitor clearly. Please use the following wording as a clause in your will to ensure your money goes where you want it to go:

"I give the sum of £----- to Cats Protection Cat Centre, Chelwood Gate, Haywards heath,

West Sussex, RH17 7TT Charity Number 203644, for the benefit of the ---------- Regional

Branch, and in the event that the --------- Branch is not in existence at the date of my

death, I direct that it be for the benefit of the Branch located closest to my residence."
