What we do

Misty

Cats Protection has simple and clear objectives to help cats:

Homing - Finding good homes for cats in need

One of our main objectives is to rescue, rehabilitate and find a happy, loving and secure home for every cat and kitten that comes into our care; where they will always be fed and cared for, and given veterinary treatment when needed.

If we have an available pen we will take in any cat needing our help no matter its age or health so there is always a wide variety of cats waiting for new homes; we don’t discriminate.

All our cats and kittens have been treated to our minimum veterinary standards, meaning that they have been examined by a vet; been vaccinated against cat flu, enteritis and Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV); treated against fleas, roundworm and tapeworm; blood tested for Feline Leukaemia Virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), microchipped and if the cat has not been neutered we will also pay for it to be neutered.
