Last year for my 40th , I wanted to do something special and that I'd alway's
remember , so I decided on a charity tandam skydive , I'd often thought about
doing one over the years but my fear of heights and planes stopped me , but
raising money for my local cats protection gave me the courage I needed ! , on
the day after waiting around for what seemed like forever it was time to go then
the fear hit me but I smiled through it , I climbed in the plane and looked out
of the window as we went upto 10,000 ft then the door opened and there was no
going back ! , I just remembered why I was doing it and said to my instructor I
don't believe I jumped out of that plane ! the view was amazing when we came
down to land I forgot what I'd been told and tried to land on my feet on hit the
ground with a slight bump , I raised £500 so it was worth it and yes I would do
it again just try and get my landing better next time ! , so I'd say to anyone
face your fears and raise some much needed funds for your charity , people will
sponsor you if only because they think you are mad !
