SHE MUST BE MAD

SHE MUST BE MAD

Last year for my 40th , I wanted to do something special and that I'd alway's remember , so I decided on a charity tandam skydive , I'd often thought about doing one over the years but my fear of heights and planes stopped me , but raising money for my local cats protection gave me the courage I needed ! , on the day after waiting around for what seemed like forever it was time to go then the fear hit me but I smiled through it , I climbed in the plane and looked out of the window as we went upto 10,000 ft then the door opened and there was no going back ! , I just remembered why I was doing it and said to my instructor I don't believe I jumped out of that plane ! the view was amazing when we came down to land I forgot what I'd been told and tried to land on my feet on hit the ground with a slight bump , I raised £500 so it was worth it and yes I would do it again just try and get my landing better next time ! , so I'd say to anyone face your fears and raise some much needed funds for your charity , people will
sponsor you if only because they think you are mad !

We here at Stoke & Newcastle Branch of Cats Protection are very proud of Julie and the money she raised helped a lot of cats in our area. This year she is going to do a 150 ft bungee jump for our branch we needs to raise a lot more money if we are going to help cats at the lever that we are working at.(last year we home 245 cat and moved 196 to other branchs for rehoming) So if you can help in any way please contact our fund raising officer on 07842286382 thank you and a big thanks to Julie.
