Air Rifle Warning - Priory Park, Dudley

We have received reports of cats being deliberately injured by air rifles in the Somery Road / Priory Park area of Dudley. These reports have been passed to the Police and the RSPCA.
If you live in this area and have cats, please be extra vigilant, especially if your cat has access to the outdoors.
If your cat is injured or you notice anyone behaving suspiciously, please contact the Police on 0345 113 5000 and the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999.
RSPCA inspectors can enforce offences under the Animal Welfare Act or Wildlife and Countryside Act relating to air weapons which may require police involvement. Conviction can result in a heavy fine or imprisonment.
