We’re here to support cats and kittens in the Haverhill area, covering postcodes: CB10, CB9, CO10, and parts of CO9. We also cover specific areas within CB1 and CB8.

Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Haverhill, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Haverhill area. Without volunteers, Cats Protection Haverhill & District Branch simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats of Haverhill, you'll enjoy practical benefits such as discounted pet insurance.

Fosterer volunteer

Haverhill & District

Across the UK, many cats are cared for by volunteer fosterers who provide a stable, safe and loving environment in their homes or in purpose-built pens in their gardens. They provide vital hands-on care and accommodation to stray or abandoned cats or cats whose owners could sadly no longer keep them, and are part of a dedicated team of volunteers committed to finding new homes for cats in need.
