Coffee Morning
We had an open garden day and coffee morning in May and raised £900 and hopefully a bit of awareness. The amazingly generous donations of home baking and crafts by some of our members and friends certainly helped to bring in such a large amount of money. The plant stall was very popular too. Because of the expected poor weather we cut our losses and borrowed a marquee , we had the tombola, bric o brac and tables for teas and coffees housed here. Happily, the rain held off until the event was over. This picture shows some of our volunteers getting ready for the rush. It was well attended and the cats got loads of attention in their pens. We have two pens in the garden and two cats were housed in each of the pens. I'm pleased to say two of the four cats have been homed since the coffee morning although, sadly, we lost one of the old ones and Bob remains in his pen, awaiting a loving home 
Once again, we would like to thank all those people who donated, volunteered as helpers and those who lent us equipment to make this day a success.
