Homing Show

We held a homing show in Stanraer in September. There were 12 cats for the public to view, we were careful to select cats that would not be stressed by the event. The day raised some awareness, we got 5 cats rehomed as a result, which is great and two new fosterers to join our team. As a bonus, we made £149 on our sales stall. All in all it was a successful day and we hope to hold 4 more homing shows throughout 2012. Keep your eye on the events tab, we'll be posting the dates and locations soon.

Two very generous and fit ladies did a sponsored marathon for us this summer. Susan Greer and Nicola Wilson ran the Stranraer Half Marathon in aid of Stranraer Cats Protection. They made a very well earnt £180 for us and came along to the homing show to present the cheque to our co-ordinator Lorraine Evans. May we say a huge thank you to Susan and Nicola for their support and generosity in running this marathon in our name. We are very grateful.
