Fosterers Required For Older Cats

At Cats Protection we are currently looking for people to foster elderly cats. Anyone who volunteers would be asked to foster the cats in their own home but the charity would pay any on-going vets bills and possibly provide food if a special diet is required. The idea is to give elderly cats loving homes - but to people who understand that they may not have very long with them. It is very upsetting when a pet dies, and this often means that older cats are overlooked by people who are looking to adopt. The fact is, elderly cats still need loving homes too. A Cats Protection cat fosterer would take in an elderly cat(s) and look after them until they pass, at which point they would take on another elderly cat who is in need of some TLC.
