If you like being hands-on with cats but are not overly sentimental, this could be the role for you. Training and equipment are supplied, food and cat litter are provided and vet bills are covered by the charity.

You’ll be asked to meet national standards of welfare, and be prepared to give care outside normal hours – but it’s hugely rewarding.
