There has been a spate of poisonings in this area over the last few days. A number of cats have been taken to a vet for treatment. Sadly, a cat died from kidney failure yesterday evening.
We don't yet know if these incidents are related to anti-freeze, but we urge everyone to be very careful how it is used. The sweet taste of anti-freeze makes it very attractive to cats, dogs and children.
