STANLEY (FORMERLY SANDY)    "It couldn't have gone better!"

Stanley was homed to Sally recently and she tells us:

"Stanley and Percy are now firm friends and have been for all but less than a week of their meeting. We can even pick them both up together and have a giant fluffy cuddle, they are so laid back!

"Their friendship consists of quite a large part of the day spent sleeping next to each other somewhere in the house. The rest of the time they are dashing around the place with jaws clamped around necks and fluff flying in the air - quite rough play but not a squeak out of them so they obviously don't hurt each other. After meal times Stan will give Percy a bit of a face wash although I haven't seen Percy reciprocate!

So all in all it has been a real success story, it couldn't have gone better!"

PUMPKIN        "We are one big happy family"

Pumpkin (formerly Jason) went to live in Whitfield with Beth and Dan last year. They tell us:  "We fell in love with Pumpkin the minute we saw him; he was this tiny, cute, bouncy ginger cat. Although he seemed quite scared at first, he soon made himself at home, letting us know what he wants. When we got him home, we had to support our other cat, Stormy, to adjust to him and after a while she did. They are now best sleeping and fighting buddies! Pumpkin is so playful and such a little character: he is a cheeky chappie! He has also brought Stormy out of her shell; she will come downstairs and meet guests now which she never did before.

"Pumpkin is such a mummy's boy and is always there to greet us at the door especially if we are carrying food. We really enjoy our cuddles and kisses with him as he makes us feel loved. We are one big happy family! Thank you so much for giving him to us and letting Stormy have a little brother to annoy!"
