Trekfest - The Brecon Beacons 2017 - 50km

Event Overview

The Brecon Beacons National Park is a mountain range that runs through the centre of South Wales, renowned for its inspiring and open scenery. The Beacons is also the training ground of the SAS – as you can imagine the routes will provide you with testing climbs, steep descents and challenging terrain. Both the 25km and 50km routes will summit one of the highest peaks in South Wales, the famous Pen y Fan (886m), it will be a challenging adventure but once you make it to the top you’ll discover sensational views of the Brecon Beacons, with its rolling mountains and hills, stretching as far as the eye can see.

To register you pay a registration fee of £60 then we ask you to pledge to raise £300, we ask to have received a minimum of 50% of your sponsorship six weeks prior to the event. We will provide you with full support and ideas to ensure you feel confident in raising the pledged minimum.

We understand the commitment, courage and thought that goes into participating in a challenge event on behalf of Cats Protection and promise we will do our very best to give you all the help and support you need to have a successful challenge and raise lots of much needed funds to help us care for cats and kittens.
