Cat lovers needed to be fosterers
We are looking for more people to become fosterers to increase the numbers of cats and kittens that we can help.
No formal qualifications are needed, nor is lots of experience with cats. Just a love of cats, an interest in animal welfare and a little bit of spare time.
Fosterers can either have a pen in their garden, (see photo on right) for which we pay the installation costs. Or they can foster within their home, by using a designated spare room where the foster cat/kitten can be kept away from any other family pets.
The branch supplies everything you need; food and litter and pays any veterinary bills for the cat in your care.
The rewards of fostering are many, from taking in a stray that has had a rough time and looks a bit battered and seeing them blossom into a fit, handsome animal, to feeling the excitement of a new owner when they come to collect their new pet!
In this photo you can see one of our fosterers, Ken, outside a pen with his own cat taking a look.
If you think that you might be interested in joining our fostering team then please get in touch for more information and an informal, no obligation chat. We can also arrange for anyone interested to go and visit one of our fosterers, see their pen and chat to them.
