If you have concerns about a stray or need to re-home an owned cat, please read this first.

Rescuing Cats and Kittens is a big part of what we do so please consider adopting from us.
We don't have a rehoming centre, we work through a network of volunteer fosterers who care for the cats/kittens at their own homes.

All of our cats have been treated to above our minimum veterinary standards, meaning that they have been examined by a veterinary surgeon, been vaccinated against flu, enteritis and leukaemia, micro chipped,  treated against fleas, roundworm and tapeworm and any sick cats have been blood tested for FIV and FeLV. If the cat has not been neutered before or during its time in our care, provision will be made to ensure owners are able to do this after adoption; our recommended start age for neutering within Cats Protection is four months. All adopted cats come with 4 wks free insurance.
Adoption Fee is £50 for an Adult cat and £60 for a kitten, it costs us on Average £160 for each cat/kitten so any donation above the adoption fee is gratefully received. Home visit required

People often say to our volunteers "would love to do your job" well it isn't a job we are all volunteers and do this for free because we care passionately about cat welfare. We get a small annual grant from Cats Protection headquarters but have to raise all other funds to pay for vet bills, food, litter and general cat care, we also raise funds towards our neutering work, adoption fees only cover around a quarter of the cost of each cat or kittens care. Every Donation no matter how small makes a difference! Cat Food always needed.
