After a brief pause in 2012, Cats Protection will shortly be relaunching the Northern Ireland-wide scheme enabling cats to be neutered for £5. This offer is open to owners who are receiving state benefits, are on a low income, who are students, pensioners, on housing benefit or council tax benefit and who live in.
Either phone our neutering hotline on 03000 12 12 12 (lines open from 10am-4pm) or contact your nearest vet and ask whether they are participating in the £5 campaign. Almost all veterinary practices in Northern Ireland are currently working with us on this initiative. Please be aware that vets in border areas of the Republic of Ireland are not participating and owners must reside with Northern Ireland. The map below shows your nearest vet, all of whom will be receiving new paperwork to run the scheme during the first weeks of 2013.
You can simply double click on the map to zoom in and then click on the blank points to find the details of the surgeries who you then should contact directly – you do not need to call us at Cats Protection first.
*Information for veterinary practices – you will receive new vouchers in early 2013. Please contact us if you have not received the new vouchers by 21st January 2013.
If you need further help please phone our neutering hotline
