Willow's Story
Willow (formerly Maisy) came to me at the beginning of April 2011. I had just lost
my cat Maggie after a long illness and knew I would get another cat in the
future. As I arrived at the vet to collect Maggie's ashes, Alison was in the
waiting room with Maisy and her sister. As this little face peeped out of the
carrier I fell in love. Alison told me they would be ready to be rehomed after
being spayed. It felt so right that I asked to have first refusal for Maisy(Willow). When I visited her a couple of days
later I knew she would be perfect for me.
A week later she moved in and
became Willow. She was very shy, but soon began to explore her new home. Willow
is now settled and is beginning to gain confidence in the garden. She believes
that she has got me well trained to supply food and toys and cuddles at regular
intervals.
Thanks to Cats Protection I now have a new friend to share life
with, hopefully for many years to come. It was certainly meant to be. Being in
the right place at the right time.
