All at Woking Cats Protection are justifiably proud of the achievements of Heather Cook. A truly remarkable person, she has dedicated her life to the welfare of cats and has literally saved the lives of thousands. We are delighted that Heather's achievements have been recognised not only as joint winner of the Cats Protection 'Leading Light Award' but also as the overall winner and ' Volunteer of the Year'.

On behalf of all at the Woking and District Cats Protection Branch we would like to say THANK-YOU to all who voted for Heather Cook as volunteer of the year. For over 27 years Heather has worked selflessly for the benefit of cats, kittens, volunteers and cat owners alike. She is very much admired, respected and loved by everyone and the award of 'Volunteer of the Year: overall winner ' has been a fitting tribute to her achievements. Once again, THANK-YOU
