Foster a cat:
At Aberystwyth and District Branch, we do not have a homing centre, instead we rely on members of the public caring for cats in their own homes until a permanent home can be found. We are currently in desperate need of foster homes before kitten season arrives, for further information visit this page
Aside from fostering, there are few volunteering opportunities to work physically with the cats themselves however there are many ways in which you can help. Join our committee:
Join the committee and assume an administrative role, helping us to ensure the continued running and development of the branch.
Become a fund-raiser:
You can get involved with our fund-raising team, and host money-making events, or join us on our collection days, anywhere in the area.
Drive for us:
We are always in need of drivers to collect and distribute food & supplies to fosterers and transport cats between locations and to and from the vets.To find out more about volunteering with us please call us on 01970 822120 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our volunteer speakers have the important and exciting role of raising awareness of Cats Protection. They deliver pre-prepared talks, help spread messages around feline welfare and act as the voice of cats in their local communities. They also deliver talks to both adults and children in a variety of settings. Interacting with children is especially important, as they are the cat owners of the future, and by building their understanding and knowledge we can make the world a better place for cats.
