Volunteering

Do you love cats? Do you have a few spare hours each week/month? Do you want to make a difference? Do you enjoy meeting people?

If you answered yes to any of these questions (mostly, do you love cats?) then we'd love to hear from you. Our current volunteer vacancies are listed below (these are unpaid volunteer roles).

Andover Branch is run by a team of hardworking volunteers and we're always looking for new volunteers to help out in any different ways. No previous experience necessary - just a willingness to learn, training will be given.
There are lots of different ways you can help, perhaps you like meeting new people in which case you could help out at a fundraising event, or maybe you're a whizz with the computer and can help with admin, sometimes we just need someone to take a cat to the vets!

Whatever your skills  or interests, please give us a ring ,we'd love to hear from you. It’s a great way to meet new people who have a common interest (CATS!!), have some fun and help make a difference to the lives of so many abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens.

The branch is particularly keen to recruit additional volunteers in the following areas:

- Fundraising volunteers
- Fosterers
Recruitment support

Cats awaiting a home can be placed either in a pen in your garden or in a room set aside in your house. The work involves collecting cats from their old home, taking it to the vet (for vaccinations, microchipping and neutering as required) and eventually rehoming the cat with its new owner. All food, litter and other materials are provided and all expenses are paid. Please contact our Homing Officer for more information
