Just Giving appeal for Rafa
14 March 2018
Raffa, soon to be Ralph, came into our care a few weeks ago. He had been rescued from the streets by a kind lady. She was unable to cover the large vet bills associated with Raffa's poor health so she turned to our branch for help. Raffa was struggling to jump, was regularly being sick and he had a very smelly mouth. He was taken to the vets and it was agreed that he would need expensive dental and gum treatments. There were also concerns about his general health. The vet told us that Raffa is about two years old and he is a very loveable boy who just needs some love and care. Luckily for Raffa all of his tests came back negative so he will go to his forever home at the end of the month once the branch are happy he is fully recovered from his ordeal. Raffa’s vet bill is currently over £500.
On top of this will be the cost of the standard vaccine, flea and worm treatment plus the day to day cost of keeping him in our care until he is adopted. Raffa is one of the many cats and kittens currently in our care and an example of the support our local branch gives to the many cats and kittens in our community. Any support you can give is hugely appreciated, no matter how large or small. We have fantastic supporters and appreciate everything you do to help us to help more cats and kittens. Thank you from all the volunteers, cats and kittens at Cats Protection Atherton & Wigan Branch
