SABREBedford & Biggleswade

Meet the lovely Sabre, he is a short-haired black male, estimated to be approx 7 years old.

Sabre arrived in our care having been found as a stray. He had become fearful of people and it has taken him a little while to trust again. He is now learning to fully enjoy the comforts of a nice comfy bed and regular food.

Routine blood tests showed that Sabre, sadly due to being unneutered, contracted FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). Despite this he is very fit and healthy and could lead a long healthy life. However, he will need an indoor only home. Further information on FIV can be found on this link

Sabre also had a build up of wax in his ears, this caused them to become inflamed and itchy. However, our vets have provided a liquid to use once a week, which he happily takes. Since this he has become a changed boy. He greets you when you enter his pen and loves to spend time with you. He will give you head bops and happily sit on your lap.

We feel Sabre would benefit best from a home where someone is around most of the day. His new home should not have any other cats or dogs. He would also prefer a home where there are no young children, ideally teenagers or older.

Sabre has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated.
