HAZELBedford & Biggleswade

Hazel is a beautiful short-haired black & white female, approx. 2 years old. Hazel came into our care as a stray, with her young kittens. Now her kittens have found new homes, it is Hazel’s turn.

Because she lived as a stray for probably most of her adult life, Hazel can be shy and nervous to begin with. And can also hiss to begin with. However, this is just a coping mechanism for her and once she is confident with you, she will confidently rub around you and give you head bops. She enjoys a fuss but can become a little overexcited. She loves to greet you when she's confident with lots of squeaking and chirping.

Hazel is finding her inner kitten and has started to play with her toys, while no-one is around.

Because she can get overexcited, we feel she would be better suited to a home with children 12 years + she can potentially live with other cats and dogs too, so long as they like cats. She is looking for a home away from busy roads and railways.

Hazel is neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated.

Hazel will need to have a safe, secure, quiet room to start off in. A room where she can have a separate area for food and water. For a litter tray placed as far away as possible from her food and water. For somewhere to hide, access to a high spot where she can view her surroundings, a suitable place to sleep or, ideally, a choice of them, a scratching post and a few cat toys and space for her to play. She will also need a Feliway diffuser in her room, as she will likely hide away for a few days when she goes to her new home.
