National Cat Award Winner - Faith, pays a visit to the Belfast Adoption Centre

The Belfast Adoption Centre was delighted to have had a recent visit from friend of the centre and winner at Cats Protection's National Cat Awards 2017 - Faith Downey. You can find out more about Faith and her cat - Mittens, and which award they scooped at this year's ceremony here: http://www.cats.org.uk/get-involv…/nca/nca-furr-ever-friends

Faith attended the centre (as part of a birthday treat) with her cousin - Philip, and sister - Lydia; who along with a few other cat mad friends form 'The Funky Feline Committee'.

The Funky Feline Committee recently raised an amazing £138 for a sponsored silence that they held in aid of the Belfast Adoption Centre, which they kindly presented during their visit.

Faith has recently been diagnosed with a rare and complex brain tumour and will have to receive specialist treatment at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital in the future. We would like to take this opportunity to express our well wishes to Faith and her family - they will all be in our thoughts.
