HollyBlandford & Sturminster Newton

Meet Holly who is a grand old lady of 15+ years. This delightful girl came in as a stray just before Christmas in a very poor state, she was a bag of bones and very snotty. It turns out she had an overactive thyroid which is now being managed on medication and she has gained weight and is looking good again.
She is a real sweetie and will sit on you and love you for as long as you have got. She has been lucky as she has been homed fostered since the beginning of the year so has been warm and loved through the winter and lockdown. We believe she is as good as we are going to get her. The nasal catarrh is probably due to cat flu and has been successfully treated on and off with antibiotics through the last 7 months and this is something that could continue to be necessary as unfortunately for Holly her snottyness has returned already so we have found we can only give her temporary relief with the antibiotics which is a shame for her.
Holly is looking for a home where she is the only pet. She is on daily medication in tablet form for the thyroid which must continue, she takes them very well in a piece of cheese or fishy paste, which is less stressful to all involved. She could have an operation to sort the thyroid out but we feel the stress of it might trigger the flu symptoms again.
She is an absolute darling of a cat and we would love her to find a forever home. We would love to find her a home with a garden she could potter in. Could you give this delightful girl that home?
